LAMONI, Iowa – Graceland scored just four minutes into the contest, then added two more goals in the next 20 minutes to take full control of an eventual 6-0 victory over Evangel Saturday afternoon at Rasmussen Soccer Complex.

After Alonso Campos scored on an assist from Santiago Gordillo just 4:08 into the contest, Jack Leeming added a second goal in the 22nd minute, before Nicolo Monacelli netted the first of his two goals less than two minutes later for a 3-0 GU advantage.

Highlights

• Benjamin Barrera Tapia scored a fourth GU first-half goal (unassisted) in the 39th minute
• Monacelli added his second goal in the 89th minute
• The Yellowjackets out-shot Evangel by a 22-12 margin, but both clubs finished with 10 shots on goal
• Vitor Cositorto led EU with four shots on goal, while Noe Winston added three
• Gordillo led GU with three shots on goal to go along with his assist on the go-ahead goal
• Daniel Orozco stopped seven EU shots on goal to log the shutout for GU
• Anthony Morales made four saves in goal for EU
