BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – A pair of Gyorgy Kamaras goals in the first 13 minutes of play—and three more Baker goals in the final 13 minutes of the first half—powered the No. 12 Wildcats to an eventual 6-0 win over the Evangel men's soccer squad Wednesday night in the two clubs' Heart of America Athletic Conference opener at Liston Stadium.
Kamaras put BU in front just 2:32 into the match off of an Antonio Salas assist, then doubled the Wildcat lead in the 13th minute. Collyn Lowrey faced just one Evangel shot on goal to earn the shutout victory for BU.

- BU allowed just one EU shot on goal—a Dillon Creager attempt in the 52nd minute—while recording 30 shots (14 on goal) of its own
- Kamaras finished with a game-high seven shots (three on goal)
- Salas tallied two assists, helping out on an Easton Weber goal to put the Wildcats on top, 3-0
- Brian Vidal assisted on an Ian Carroll goal for the fourth BU tally, then added one of his own to complete the first-half scoring
