SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Freed-Hardeman scored four times in a span of 15 minutes to hand the Evangel men's soccer team a 4-0 setback on opening day of the 2021 season Saturday afternoon at Coryell Field.
Stefan Cekic opened the scoring in the 19th minute of the contest to put the Lions on top, before Einer Orn Sigurosson added an unassisted goal six minutes later.
Kenneth Ramirez assisted Joao Pedro on a third Lions goal minutes later, then added one of his own in the 33rd minute to hand his club a commanding advantage.
