CONWAY, Ark. – The Evangel men's soccer team was defeated on the road at Central Baptist, 2-1.

The Crusaders' lone goal came from Tobi Mustapha in the 35th minute to tie the game. 

Evangel notched 9 shots with six being on goal. Mustapha and Andrew Flippin led the way with two shots on goal apiece. 

Anthony Morales spend the majority of the game in the goal and had five saves off seven shots, while allowing two goals. Jacob Holman also spent time in goal for Evangel.

The Crusaders will return home on Tuesday, Sept. 15 to take on Williams Baptist. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
