PERU, Neb. – The Evangel women's basketball team notched its second conference win Saturday with a 75-50 victory at Peru State in Heart of America Athletic Conference action.

Evangel turned the ball over just four times in the win and forced 18 Bobcat turnovers. The Crusaders also outscored Peru State 20-4 in points off turnovers and 27 points off the bench.

Mackenzie Farmer led the Crusaders with 18 points in her first start of the season. Kylee Moore and Paige Patterson each added 10 points in the win.

Sydnee Garrett was held in single digits for just the second time this season and first since the first game of the season. Garrett finished with 7 points and 10 rebounds.

Peru State was led by Claire Cudney who scored 17 points for the Bobcats.

Evangel continues its three-game road swing Wednesday at No. 13 Baker. Tipoff from Baldwin City, Kansas, is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
