SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel men's soccer team fell to 18th-ranked Benedictine, 3-0, Tuesday afternoon in conference play.
The Crusaders and Ravens both battled the strong winds Tuesday before Benedictine jumped out in front in the first half.
Ryan Dickerson scored the first of two goals in the first half for the Ravens first in the 28th minute as his second goal came 10 minutes later. Benedictine added a third goal in the 74th minute to push its lead to 3-0 where the final held steady.
Josiah Dinwiddie recorded nine saves for Evangel in net.

Evangel will head to Iowa to close out the regular season Saturday at Grand View. First touch in Des Moines, Iowa, is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
