SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Evangel University men's soccer team fell at Coryell Field Saturday to 14th-ranked Grand View in Heart Conference action. 

Evangel held the Vikings to just two goals in the first half as Grand View took a 2-0 lead into intermission. 

In the second half, Grand View broke loose with five goals including a hat-trick from Danton Irelan. Irelan scored one goal in the first half before adding two more in the second period. 

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE                     
- The 21 shots allowed and seven goals scored by Grand View were a season high for an opponent this season.

- Ryan Harrisskitt finished with eight saves while Josiah Dinwiddie added two saves in the final 11 minutes of action.

Evangel continues home action Tuesday against 17th-ranked Missouri Valley. First touch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Coryell Field.
