LAMONI, Iowa – The Evangel University women's basketball team held off Graceland for an 86-81 victory Monday night in Heart of America Athletic Conference action. 

The Crusaders got a game-high 22 points from Alison Jarrell while Samantha Williams posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 boards. 

The game went back and forth but Evangel forced the Yellowjackets into 17 turnovers and finished with 10 steals. The Crusaders also scored 20 points off turnovers in the win as Reggine Brown and Madi Johnson also finished in double figures. 

Brown added 11 points while Johnson finished with 13 points and tallied four assists for Evangel. 

Graceland was led by Tristen McFeders and Gabes Lapinski who each scored 21 points.
