SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel women's soccer team continues their road trip on Wednesday (Sept. 23) afternoon, taking on the Avila Eagles in Kansas City at 1:00 p.m.

OPENING STORYLINES 

• The Valor are coming off a 1-1 draw with McPherson on the road last Saturday.

• Felicity Pendleton leads the Valor in goals scored so far this season, netting a pair.

• Lili Thiessen scored her first collegiate goal in Saturday's draw.

• Eliza Barger leads Evangel in assists, currently with two. Barger added her second on Thiessen's goal last weekend.

• Samantha Shane has served as Evangel's starting goalkeeper in KCAC play, currently with 225 minutes in goal and 26 saves in a pair of starts.

• Evangel will match up with Avila for the ninth time in program history on Wednesday, as the Valor trail all-time, 2-6, falling at home by a goal last season, 1-0.
