SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel women's soccer team opens KCAC play on Wednesday (Sept. 16) evening, taking on the 14th-ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles at 5:00 p.m., at Coryell Field.

OPENING STORYLINES 

• The Valor are coming off a 2-1 loss to the Southwestern Christian Eagles at home last Monday.

• Felicity Pendleton leads the Valor in goals scored so far this season, netting a pair.

• Makayla Myers scored her first goal of the season last week.

• Seven Valor athletes all have recorded an assist this season.

• Paige Estes currently leads Evangel in minutes in goal (256) and saves (17). Samantha Shane had a strong appearance in goal in the second half against SWC, allowing zero goals and recording six saves.

• Evangel will match up with Oklahoma Wesleyan for the fifth time in program history on Wednesday, as the Valor aim to earn their first win in the series, trailing 0-4.
