SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Women's Basketball returns home on Wednesday (Jan. 14) evening, hosting the Avila Eagles in a KCAC matchup set for 5:30 p.m., looking to complete the season sweep against the Eagles.

SERIES HISTORY

Evangel is 43-19 all-time against Avila, taking a win earlier this season in Kansas City, 95-48, and aim to take the season series for the first time since 23-24.

• Evangel is coming off their 12th consecutive win, taking down Bethany on Saturday, 87-60, maintaining their two-game lead in the conference standings. 

• Cassidy Hambelton leads Evangel in assists with 86 and steals with 41 so far this year. 

• Evangel's high powered offense averages 96.0 points per game, leading the nation in points per game.

• Carson Dillard and Heaven Shockley lead Evangel in points per game, currently both averaging 15.1 points per game. Ali Kamies and Hambelton round out double digit averages for EU, putting up 14.0 and 12.1 per contest, respectively.
