SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Volleyball plays host to the Bobcats of College of the Ozarks, as the longtime rivals meet for the 114th matchup between both squads.

First serve is set for 7:00 p.m. in AGFinancial Arena.

OPENING STORYLINES 

• Evangel went 2-0 at the Kansas Wesleyan Tri-Match last Saturday, sweeping Haskell and defeating Kansas Wesleyan, 3-1.

• Senior Bella Wakley leads Evangel with 241 kills so far this season, averaging 3.09 per set.

• Redshirt freshman Brooklyn Claxton leads Evangel in assists, currently with 375 this year.

• Senior Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 132 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.69 per set. Sanchez has been awarded the KCAC Defensive Player of the Week honor in five consecutive weeks.

• Senior Kenna Wise has continued to be strong defensively, currently with 396 total digs to lead the team, which is the fourth most in the nation.

• In the all-time matchup, Evangel trails College of the Ozarks, 48-60-5, falling to the Bobcats on the road earlier this season, 3-2.

Valor Volleyball hosts the Ottawa Braves on Wednesday (Oct. 8) evening at 7:00 p.m. in AGFinancial Arena.
