SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Volleyball travels to Salina on Saturday (Sept. 27) morning, taking on Kansas Wesleyan and Haskell at the KWU Tri-Match.
EU takes on KWU at 11:00 a.m. with their matchup against Haskell beginning at 1:00 p.m.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel swept Avila on Wednesday night, earning their 11th straight win of the season.

Wakley leads Evangel with 220 kills so far this season, averaging 3.10 per set.

Brooklyn Claxton leads the team in assists this year, currently with 333, while Jessica Pritchett sits just shy of the lead at 327. Both setters help the Valor average just over 12 assists per set as a team.

Senior Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 116 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.63 per set, which is third in the nation.

Senior Kenna Wise has continued to be strong defensively, currently with 363 total digs to lead the team, averaging 5.11 per set, which is fourth in the conference.

In the all-time matchup, Evangel leads Kansas Wesleyan and Haskell, 5-1 and 3-0, respectively. EU took a three-set sweep of the Coyotes last season at home and swept Haskell earlier this year.

Valor Volleyball plays host to the Bobcats of College of the Ozarks next Wednesday (Oct. 1) evening at 7:00 p.m. for Breast Cancer Awareness night.
