SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Volleyball travels south to Conway, Arkansas, to take part in the Central Baptist Tri-Match tomorrow (Sept. 16) evening.
The Valor will take on Central Baptist at 4:00 p.m., followed by a 6:00 p.m. matchup with NCAA D-II Arkansas-Monticello.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel went 5-0 last week, going a combined 15-3 in sets won in Columbia and St. Louis.

Wakley leads Evangel with 194 kills so far this season, averaging 3.13 per set.

Brooklyn Claxton has taken the team lead in assists this year, currently with 287, while Jessica Pritchett sits just shy of the lead at 283. Both setters help the Valor average just over 12 assists per set as a team.

Senior Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 96 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.55 per set, which is fourth in the nation.

Senior Kenna Wise has continued to be strong defensively, currently with 314 total digs to lead the team, averaging 5.06 per set, the fourth top mark in the conference.

In the all-time matchups, Evangel leads Central Baptist, 2-0, and has never matched up with Arkansas-Monticello.
LOOKING AHEAD
Valor Volleyball will take a week off and take on conference foe, Avila, on Wednesday (Sept. 24) evening at 7:00 p.m. in Kansas City, Missouri.
