SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Women's Soccer plays host to the William Woods Owls on Tuesday (Aug. 26) evening at 6:00 p.m., looking to bounce back after a tough loss on Saturday.
OPENING STORYLINES

The Valor fell in their home opener on Saturday, 3-0, to Williams Baptist, a team that was picked to finish third in the American Midwest Conference.

Amaura Austell currently leads Evangel in shot attempts with four, while Ava Campbell and Rylie Kidman lead in shots on goal with two.

The Valor defense will look to tighten up on Tuesday, after allowing three goals in their loss last weekend, the most goals given up since September 21st of last season (5-0 loss to Kansas Wesleyan).

Evangel will match up with William Woods for the third time in program history, trailing in the series, 0-1-1. EU fell 2-0 last season in Fulton and tied at home against the Owls 1-1 in 2023.
