SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Valor Volleyball opens their 58th season on Friday and Saturday (August 22nd/23rd) in Fulton, Missouri, taking part in the William Woods Invitational.
The Valor will take on Graceland and Haskell on Friday, before closing out the invitational with matches against William Woods and Justice University.

Evangel had a strong 2024 season, going 24-6 and finishing as a conference tournament semifinalist.

The Valor, who lost All-American Loran Pritchett, will look to preseason All-KCAC honorees Bella Wakley (322 kills in '24), Vivianna Sanchez (143 blocks in '24), and Sharayah Seymour (203 kills in '24) to lead offensively, while Kenna Wise (542 digs in '24) returns at libero and Jessica Prichett (700 assists in '24) at setter.

EU also adds a trio of collegiate transfers and five high school standouts to help add depth to the Valor lineup.

Evangel trails Graceland (20-38) and William Woods (28-31) all-time, but leads Haskell (2-0) and has never competed against Justice.
LOOKING AHEAD
Valor Volleyball will travel to Texas next Friday and Saturday (Aug. 29/30) to take part in the Nelson University Invite, with games on Friday in Fort Worth and Saturday in Waxahachie.
