Full NAIA All-American List
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On Tuesday, Maddy Meierer was recognized for her dominant season in 2025 by being named an NAIA Third Team All-American.
Maddy Meierer, a local Nixa, Mo., native, finished her strong 2025 campaign with the lowest ERA in the nation (0.88) and finished with a 24-6 record, the most wins for a pitcher in a single season at Evangel. Meierer also recorded 198 strikeouts and allowed opponents just a .167 batting average at the plate.
Meierer is the first Valor Softball athlete to earn NAIA All-American honors since Ali Raley in 2021 and is just the third sophomore to do it at Evangel, joining Danielle Billings (2012) and Summer Kimbel (1999).
Evangel concluded its season with a 42-12 overall record, advancing to the opening round semifinals in their farthest placement since the 2006 NAIA College World Series team.
