LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – Valor Softball hit the road for their final road doubleheader of the regular season, taking on the Saint Mary Spires, needing to go 2-0 or 1-1 to remain in control of the top seed in the conference.
In game one, the Valor bats continued to struggle to make solid contact and recorded just two base hits, falling 1-0. In the final game of the series, the Valor found themselves in an early hole and could not muster enough offense for a comeback, falling 8-4 and dropping their first doubleheader since March when they fell in back to back games to Ottawa.
