PITTSBURG, Kan. – Valor Track and Field traveled to Pittsburg, Kansas, on Thursday (Apr. 17), looking to compete in the Pitt State Tune-Up after the meet was moved up from Saturday.
Evangel had four athletes break school records on Thursday in Kansas, with Morgan Lilly breaking the school record in the 100, Liberty Wiles breaking the record in the 400 hurdles, Allison Thomas breaking the record in the Javelin throw, and Trenton Braswell breaking the record he set last week in the Hammer throw.
Braswell hit the "B" standard in both the Hammer and Discus, qualifying for nationals, while Thomas hit the "B" standard in Javelin. Delaney Miller again hit the "A" standard in the high jump, tying her school record on Thursday.

Evangel Men's and Women's Track and Field teams will take a week off and return to action on May 1st in Salina, Kansas, at the KCAC Outdoor Track and Field Conference Championships.
