FAYETTE, Mo. – Valor Track and Field opened their outdoor season on Saturday (Mar. 15) afternoon, competing at the Central Methodist Outdoor Open, looking to hit standards to qualify for outdoor nationals and break school records.
The Valor competed well on Saturday with several athletes and teams earning first place finishes including NAIA Indoor All-American Delaney Miller placing first in the women's high jump and hitting the NAIA "A" standard to qualify for Outdoor Nationals and NAIA 2024 Outdoor All-American Koby Graham placing first in the javelin throw. Trenton Braswell also broke the Evangel school record for the hammer throw (171-09), formerly held by Phil Earwood (169-00), who set the record in 2001.

Evangel Men's and Women's Track and Field teams will travel to Rolla, Mo., on Saturday (Mar. 22) afternoon to compete at the Miner Invitational, hosted by Missouri S&T.
