SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Volleyball travels to McPherson, Kan., on Saturday (Nov. 8) afternoon, taking on the #6 McPherson Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m., with the regular season conference title on the line.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel pulled off an upset home victory over #9 Oklahoma Wesleyan on Wednesday night, 3-2.

Senior Bella Wakley leads Evangel with 332 kills so far this season and has 1,141 in her career at Evangel.

Redshirt freshman Brooklyn Claxton leads Evangel in assists, currently with 569 this year, averaging 5.42 per set.

Senior Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 195 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.73 per set, which is the second highest per set mark in the nation.

Senior Kenna Wise has continued to be strong defensively, currently with 566 total digs to lead the team, which is the second most in the conference.

Evangel currently sits in second in the conference standings, behind the McPherson Bulldogs by just one game.

In the all-time matchup, Evangel leads McPherson, 4-2, but has lost two straight in the series including a 3-2 home loss last season.
