SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Volleyball opens KCAC Conference Tournament play on Tuesday (Nov. 11) evening, hosting the sixth-seeded Ottawa Braves at 7:00 p.m. in AGFinancial Arena.
All tickets must be purchased ahead of time on the KCAC Website by clicking here. No tickets will be sold at the gate. Season Passes are not permitted for postseason play.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel fell on the road to #6 McPherson on Saturday, 3-1, in the KCAC Regular Season Championship Match.

Senior Bella Wakley leads Evangel with 342 kills so far this season, averaging 2.92 per set.

Redshirt freshman Brooklyn Claxton leads Evangel in assists, currently with 592 this year, averaging 5.43 per set.

Senior Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 204 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.74 per set, which is the second highest per set mark in the nation.

Senior Kenna Wise has continued to be strong defensively, currently with 585 total digs to lead the team, which is the second most in the conference.

In the all-time matchup, Evangel leads Ottawa, 10-5, taking a 3-0 home sweep against the Braves earlier this year.
LOOKING AHEAD
With an Evangel win, the Valor will take on the winner of #2 Bethel / #7 Saint Mary in the KCAC Semifinals in McPherson, Kansas on Friday afternoon at a time TBA. With a loss, Evangel will await and see if they did enough to earn an at-large bid into the national tournament.
