SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Volleyball opens their final homestand of the season, hosting the Tabor College Bluejays at 11:00 a.m. in Springfield on Saturday (Nov. 1) morning.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel defeated Saint Mary in four sets on Wednesday (Oct. 29) evening.

Senior Bella Wakley leads Evangel with 306 kills so far this season, averaging 2.91 per set.

Redshirt freshman Brooklyn Claxton leads Evangel in assists, currently with 528 this year, averaging 5.44 per set.

Senior Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 183 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.74 per set, which is the second highest per set mark in the nation.

Senior Kenna Wise has continued to be strong defensively, currently with 529 total digs to lead the team, which is the second most in the conference.

In the all-time matchup, Evangel leads Tabor, 16-4, taking the last three wins in the series, including a 3-1 victory on the road last season.
LOOKING AHEAD
Valor Volleyball takes on the ninth-ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles on Wednesday (Nov. 5) evening at 7:00 p.m. for senior night and their final home regular season match of the year.
