SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Women's Soccer hits the road on Saturday (Oct. 4) evening, taking on the Bethany College Swedes in Lindsborg, Kan., at 5:00 p.m., looking to break a two-game losing skid.

OPENING STORYLINES 

• The Valor fell to the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes last Saturday, 2-0.

• The Evangel offense will look to bounce back, after scoring just one goal in their last four contests.

• Evangel is led offensively by freshman forward Amaura Austell, who has scored a team-high four goals so far this season.

• Sarah Wilkins leads Evangel in minutes played, averaging just over 76 minutes per contest.

• Goalkeeper Rylee Clapp has recorded 37 saves in goal, the seventh most in the conference rankings.

• Evangel will match up with Bethany for just the third time in program history, defeating the Coyotes back in 2023 at home, 3-0, with McKenzie Calhoun and Anna Crain both scoring in the win.

LOOKING AHEAD

Evangel travels to Ottawa, Kan., to take on the Braves at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 8) evening, looking to take a win against the conference foe.
