SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Volleyball hits the road to open their toughest stretch of games this season, taking on the Bethel College Threshers on Friday (Oct. 24) evening.
First serve is set for 6:00 p.m., in North Newton, Kansas.

Evangel defeated Friends in four sets on Wednesday (Oct. 22) evening.

Evangel currently boasts one of the longest win streaks in the nation, taking 19 consecutive wins, the fourth longest in the country.

Senior Bella Wakley leads Evangel with 293 kills so far this season, averaging 2.99 per set.

Redshirt freshman Brooklyn Claxton leads Evangel in assists, currently with 490 this year.

Senior Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 171 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.74 per set.

Senior Kenna Wise has continued to be strong defensively, currently with 492 total digs to lead the team, which is the second most in the conference.

Senior Sharayah Seymour is coming off a strong game where she led the team in kills and currently ranks fifth in the nation for attacking percentage (.410).

In the all-time matchup, Evangel leads Bethel, 6-5, taking the last matchup, 3-1, at home last season.
