SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Women's Soccer hits the road and takes on the Friends Falcons on Wednesday (Oct. 22) night at 7:30 p.m., looking to continue their streak of strong play, facing off with the current #2 team in the conference.
OPENING STORYLINES

The Valor defeated Sterling on Friday, 4-0, with McKenzie Calhoun scoring a pair of goals in the win.

Makayla Myers and Austyn Mickey were both named the KCAC Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week for their play last week, respectively.

Evangel is led offensively by Amaura Austell, who has scored a team high eight goals so far this season, adding to her season total with a goal in Saturday's win. Austell has scored a goal in her last three games.

Makayla Myers leads the team with five assists so far this season.

Evangel will match up with Friends for just the third time in program history, as the Valor trail 0-2 all-time, falling on the road last season, 2-0.
LOOKING AHEAD
Evangel returns home and honors their seniors for senior day on Saturday (Oct. 25) afternoon at noon, taking on the Bethel College Threshers. Senior day festivities will take place approx. 30 minutes prior to kickoff.
