Evangel Volleyball Travels to Nebraska for Matchup with York on Saturday

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Volleyball hits the road on Saturday (Oct. 11) afternoon, taking on the York Panthers in Nebraska.

First serve is set for 1:00 p.m. as Evangel attempts to earn their 16th consecutive victory.

OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel swept Ottawa on Wednesday night at home, 3-0.
Senior Bella Wakley leads Evangel with 259 kills so far this season, averaging 3.08 per set. Wakley's 259 kills are the third most in the conference.
Redshirt freshman Brooklyn Claxton leads Evangel in assists, currently with 416 this year.
Senior Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 145 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.73 per set, which is the third top mark in the nation.
Senior Kenna Wise has continued to be strong defensively, currently with 427 total digs to lead the team, which is the most in the nation.
In the all-time matchup, Evangel leads York, 4-0, sweeping the Panthers last season on the road.
