SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After taking an upset victory over 25th ranked Columbia College last Thursday to open the AGFinancial Arena, Valor Volleyball takes a quick road trip on Wednesday (Sept. 25) evening to Hillsboro, Kan., to take on the Tabor College Bluejays at 6:00 p.m.

Evangel defeated #25 Columbia last Thursday in a five-set thriller, 3-2.

Graduate transfer Loran Pritchett continues to lead the Valor in kills and service aces, currently with 193 and 22, respectively.

Sophomore Jessica Pritchett leads Evangel in assists, currently with 244 this year.

Junior Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 61 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.22 per set. Sanchez had a career game last Thursday, recording 16 kills on just one attacking error, while blocking six balls for the Valor.

Junior Kenna Wise has continued to be strong defensively, currently with 244 total digs to lead the team.

Evangel takes on Tabor on Wednesday in their 20th all-time matchup. Currently, the Valor lead the Bluejays, 15-4, after sweeping Tabor last season.

The Valor return home on Saturday (Sept. 28) afternoon, hosting the Bethany College Swedes at 2:00 p.m.
