Valor Women's Soccer Travels to Arkansas on Friday

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel women's soccer team opens their road schedule on Friday (Aug. 30) afternoon to take on the Eagles of Williams Baptist. Friday's match begins at 1:00 p.m. in Walnut Ridge.

OPENING STORYLINES 

  • Evangel Women's Soccer earned a draw against Southwestern Christian last week, 0-0.

  • Rylee Clapp was named the KCAC Defensive Player of the Week after a nine save performance in goal.

  • Alece Hershey leads the team in shots this season, currently with two.

  • The Valor are 5-1 all time against Williams Baptist, taking a 9-0 win at home last year. Emily Oedewaldt, Grayson Murphy, and Anna Crain all scored a pair of goals for EU in the win last season.

LOOKING AHEAD

Evangel Women's Soccer continues their road trip next Wednesday (Sept. 4) evening at 5:00 PM in Fulton, Mo., against William Woods.
