SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Women's Basketball travels to Ottawa, Kansas, on Wednesday (Feb. 21) evening, in search of their sixth consecutive win of the season.
Tip-off for Wednesday's game is set for 5:00 p.m. as the Valor look to pull off the season sweep of the Braves.
SERIES HISTORY
Evangel and Ottawa will match up for the third time in program history on Wednesday evening, as the Valor lead the all-time matchup, 2-0. EU defeated the Braves back in January at home, 72-56.

The Valor used a big fourth quarter on Saturday to take down the Sterling Warriors, 85-70, earning their fifth consecutive victory.

Evangel currently holds a 15-8 record overall and are 13-7 in the KCAC. The Valor currently sit tied for fourth place in the conference standings and would travel to Kansas Wesleyan in the conference tournament quarterfinals, if the season ended today.

Kamie Jenkins pulled down 13 rebounds in the win, her 14th game this year with double digit rebounding numbers, while also scoring 17 points for her 11th double-double of the season.

The Valor are tied for fourth in the nation in offensive rebounding, currently averaging 16.5 per game.

Evangel allows just 62.3 points per game, the third lowest mark in the conference behind Tabor (56.1) and Friends (60.9).

Evangel Women's Basketball concludes the 2023-24 regular season on Saturday (Feb. 24) afternoon, hosting the Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles in their final regular season game in the Ashcroft Center at 1:00 p.m.
