SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Evangel Women's Basketball hosts the Avila Eagles on Wednesday (Nov. 20) evening at 5:30 p.m., as both teams look to earn their first win of the season after starting 0-4.

Evangel will take on Avila in their 59th all-time matchup, as the Valor lead all-time, 41-18. In their last matchup with Avila, the Valor were victorious on the road, 53-45.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel fell at home on Wednesday, 45-47, against the Friends Falcons in their conference opener.

Evangel was led by junior Ali Kamies, who scored 14 points, while Kamie Jenkins pulled down a team high 14 rebounds, her second consecutive game with double digit reb.

The Valor will look to increase their shooting percentage on Wednesday, as they currently shoot 33.8 percent from the floor and just 21.1 percent from beyond the three point line.
