SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After a dominant performance in a sweep against Southwestern, Valor Volleyball returns home on Saturday (Oct. 26) afternoon, playing host to the Sterling College Warriors, in search of their first 20-win season since 2021.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel defeated Southwestern on Wednesday evening in dominant fashion, sweeping the Moundbuilders, 3-0.

Graduate transfer Loran Pritchett continues to lead the Valor in kills and in service aces, currently with 297 and 29, respectively.

Sophomore Jessica Pritchett leads Evangel in assists, currently with 446 this year.

Junior Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 113 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.40 per set, which is fourth in the nation.

Junior Kenna Wise has continued to be strong defensively, currently with 386 total digs to lead the team, averaging 4.77 per set.

Evangel takes on Sterling on Saturday in their sixth all-time matchup, currently leading the series with the Warriors, 4-1. The Valor defeated Sterling in a 3-0 sweep last season on the road.
LOOKING AHEAD
The Valor play host to the (RV) Ottawa Braves on Wednesday (Oct. 30) evening at 7:00 p.m. for senior night in AGFinancial Arena.
