SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After falling in a five set battle on the road against #20 McPherson, Valor Volleyball looks to bounce back, traveling to Winfield, Kansas, to take on the Southwestern College Moundbuilders at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23rd.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel fell on the road, 2-3, against #20 McPherson, their first time this season losing consecutive games.

Graduate transfer Loran Pritchett continues to lead the Valor in kills and in service aces, currently with 287 and 27, respectively.

Sophomore Jessica Pritchett leads Evangel in assists, currently with 419 this year after recording 55 on Saturday, her career high.

Junior Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 107 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.37 per set, which is fourth in the nation.

Junior Kenna Wise has continued to be strong defensively, leading the team with 377 total digs, averaging 4.83 per set.

Evangel takes on Southwestern on Wednesday in their tenth all-time matchup, currently leading the series with the Moundbuilders, 5-3-1. The Valor took a three set sweep at home last year against Southwestern.

The Valor return home on Saturday (Oct. 26) afternoon, hosting the Sterling College Warriors at 2:00 p.m.
