SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After hanging tough with the 6th-ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles on Wednesday, Valor Volleyball hits the road to take on the 20th-ranked McPherson Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. in McPherson, Kansas.

Graduate transfer Loran Pritchett, who was honored for recording her 1000th career dig and kill on Wednesday, continues to lead the Valor in kills and in service aces, currently with 265 and 27, respectively.

Sophomore Jessica Pritchett leads Evangel in assists, currently with 364 this year.

Junior Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 102 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.40 per set, after recording 12 in the loss against OKWU, her career high.

Junior Kenna Wise has continued to be strong defensively, as she was honored for recording her 1000th career dig on Wednesday. Wise currently leads the team with 349 total digs, averaging 4.78 per set.

Evangel takes on McPherson on Saturday in their fifth all-time matchup, currently leading the series with the Bulldogs, 4-0. The Valor took a five-set victory at home last year against McPherson.

The Valor continue their road trip next Wednesday (Oct. 23) evening, taking on Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas at 7:00 p.m.
