SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel women's soccer team continues their road trip on Wednesday (Oct. 16) evening, taking on nationally ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan at 5:00 p.m. in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

OPENING STORYLINES 

• Evangel Women's Soccer were victorious on Saturday morning, scoring a pair of goals in a comeback effort, 2-1 over Bethel.

• Sophia Weeks and Dajah Boykin both scored goals in the win.

• The Valor currently hold a 5-5-1 record and are 4-3 in conference play.

• Calhoun leads the Valor in nearly all offensive categories, currently with 20 shots, 11 of which were on goal, and four goals.

• Rylee Clapp has recorded 64 saves so far this season, averaging 5.8 per game.

• Grayson Murphy has been a key facilitator, leading the team with three assists.

• Evangel will match up with Oklahoma Wesleyan for the third time in Evangel soccer history, as the women look to earn their first win in the series that sits at 0-2. The Valor fell at home last season to the Eagles, 1-0.

Evangel Women's Soccer returns home to host the McPherson College Bulldogs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 19) afternoon for senior day.
