SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After defeating Bethel at home in a four set battle, Evangel Volleyball concludes their home stand on Wednesday (Oct. 16) evening, taking on nationally ranked #6 Oklahoma Wesleyan at 7:00 p.m. in their toughest matchup of the season.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel took their sixth consecutive win on Saturday, defeating the Bethel Threshers in a four set win, 3-1.

Graduate transfer Loran Pritchett continues to lead the Valor in kills and in service aces, currently with 257 and 26, respectively.

Sophomore Jessica Pritchett leads Evangel in assists, currently with 346 this year.

Junior Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 90 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.30 per set.

Junior Kenna Wise has continued to be strong defensively, currently with 335 total digs to lead the team, averaging 4.86 per set.

Evangel takes on Oklahoma Wesleyan on Wednesday in their sixth all-time matchup, currently leading the series with the Threshers, 4-1. The Valor fell last season in four sets on the road against the nationally ranked squad.

The Valor hit the road to take on the McPherson College Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 19) evening in McPherson, Kansas.
