SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel women's soccer team returns to the road on Saturday (Oct. 12) morning, taking on the Bethel College Threshers in North Newton, Kansas, at 11:00 a.m.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel Women's Soccer were victorious on Wednesday evening, scoring three goals in their second consecutive game, taking a 3-1 win over Saint Mary.

McKenzie Calhoun scored a pair of goals while Makayla Myers scored her first collegiate goal in the win on Wednesday.

The Valor currently hold a 4-5-1 record and are 3-3 in conference play.

Calhoun leads the Valor in nearly all offensive categories, currently with 17 shots, 9 of which were on goal (tied with Alece Hershey), and four goals.

Rylee Clapp has recorded 58 saves so far this season, averaging 6.6 per game.

Ava Campbell and Grayson Murphy have been key facilitators, leading the team with two assists each.

Evangel will match up with Bethel for the third time in Evangel soccer history, as the women look to earn their first win in the series that sits at 0-1-1, after the Valor tied with the Threshers at home last season, 4-4.
