SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After a nail biting five set victory on the road against Saint Mary on Wednesday night, Valor Volleyball returns home to open a two game homestand, hosting the Bethel College Threshers at noon in AGFinancial Arena.

Evangel took their fifth consecutive win last Wednesday night, defeating the Saint Mary Spires in five sets, 3-2.

Graduate transfer Loran Pritchett has been a strong part of the Evangel offense, leading the Valor in kills and in service aces, currently with 239 and 25, respectively.

Sophomore Jessica Pritchett leads Evangel in assists, currently with 320 this year.

Junior Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 86 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.32 per set.

Junior Kenna Wise continues to play strong defense at the Libero position, currently leading the team with 311 total digs this season.

Evangel takes on Bethel on Saturday in their eleventh all-time matchup, currently leading tied with the Threshers, 5-5, after falling to Bethel twice last season.
