SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After a sweep of Bethany College on Saturday, Valor Volleyball takes a break from conference play and hosts their long-time rival, College of the Ozarks, on Wednesday (Oct. 2) evening at 7:00 p.m.
General admission is $5 for ages 13 and over. Tickets can be purchased online at https://evangelathletics.com/sports/2023/4/25/TICKETS.aspx or at the gate, card only.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel took their third consecutive win last Saturday afternoon, defeating the Bethany Swedes in straight sets.

Graduate transfer Loran Pritchett continues to lead the Valor in kills and in service aces, currently with 212 and 23, respectively.

Sophomore Jessica Pritchett leads Evangel in assists, currently with 276 this year.

Junior Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 76 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.33 per set.

Junior Kenna Wise has continued to be strong defensively, currently with 275 total digs to lead the team, averaging 4.82 per set.

In Evangel's previous game against C of O, Loran Pritchett led the Valor with 13 kills, while Mayci Routh led the team with three service aces.

Evangel takes on College of the Ozarks on Wednesday in their 112th all-time matchup, currently trailing the Bobcats, 47-59-5, but have taken the last two games in the series against their long-time rival.
LOOKING AHEAD
The Valor will take Saturday off before traveling to Leavenworth, Kansas, next Wednesday (Oct. 9) to take on the Saint Mary Spires at 7:00 p.m.
