Valor Women's Soccer Looks to Bounce Back Against William Woods

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel women's soccer team hosts the William Woods Owls on Wednesday (Sept. 6) evening, looking to bounce back and earn win number two of the 2023 season.

OPENING STORYLINES 

  • Evangel Women's Soccer currently leads the KCAC and is tied for 22nd in the nation for goals scored, currently with 13 this year.

  • Sophomore Anna Crain leads the Valor in goals, scoring a pair against Stephens College last week, currently with four on the season.

  • Crain also leads the team in assists with two.

  • Chloe Hancock leads Evangel in saves, currently with 13 on the year.

  • Wednesday will be Evangel's first matchup against William Woods all-time.

  • Six different Valor athletes have recorded goals this season.

LOOKING AHEAD

Evangel travels to Conway, Ark., on Saturday (Sept. 9) evening to take on NCAA D-III Hendrix College at 6:00 p.m.
