SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Valor Men's Soccer hosted the Bethany Swedes on Saturday (Sept. 23) afternoon for their final home game in their three game home stand. Using dominant offensive play in both halves, the Valor captured their first win in KCAC conference play, taking a 4-0 victory over the Swedes.

Evangel's Caleb Kuchta kept offensive pressure on the Bethany goalkeeper, recording a pair of shots in the first 11 minutes of the half. On Kuchta's third shot attempt, he found the back of the goal for his second goal of the season, scoring on a corner from Junior Barboza, giving the Valor a 1-0 lead. Evangel was able to record several more shot opportunities in the half, but did not put another goal in the back of the net as they took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break.
