Valor Women's Soccer Looks to Start Winning Streak on Wednesday

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel women's soccer team remains at home to take on the Friends Falcons on Wednesday (Sept. 20) afternoon, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Coryell Field.

OPENING STORYLINES 

  • Evangel Women's Soccer has recorded 18 goals so far this season.

  • Evangel is coming off their first win in KCAC play on Saturday, defeating Kansas Wesleyan, 3-1.

  • Sophomore Anna Crain leads the Valor in goals and assists, currently with five and four, respectively, on the season.

  • McKenzie Calhoun recorded two goals in the win on Saturday, moving to second on the team with four overall.

  • Chloe Hancock leads Evangel in saves, currently with 36 on the year.

  • Evangel and Friends compete in their first ever head-to-head matchup on Wednesday, as the Valor look to earn their second win in the KCAC.

LOOKING AHEAD

Evangel Women's Soccer hosts Bethany to conclude their homestand on Saturday (Sept. 23) afternoon at 12:00 p.m. at Coryell Field.
