SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel women's soccer team hosts the Stephens Stars on Tuesday (Aug. 29) evening, looking to rack up win number two of the 2023 season.

Evangel Women's Soccer currently leads the KCAC and is tied for 10th in the nation for goals scored, currently with 10 this year.

Junior transfer Emily Oedewaldt leads the Valor in goals, scoring a pair in the 9-0 victory over Williams Baptist last week, with three.

Anna Crain recorded two assists in the win last week, currently leading the team in the category.

Chloe Hancock leads Evangel in saves, currently with 11 on the year.

Evangel is 3-0 against Stephens all-time, including 1-0 at home, taking the win, 10-0, back in 2019.

Six different Valor athletes have recorded goals this season.

The Valor average 5.33 goals against the Stars and won their last matchup against Stephens, 2-1, last season in Columbia.
