SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After a successful fall campaign, Valor Women's Tennis opened their spring season of competition, taking on NCAA DII Truman State in their opener.
Strong dominant play from Evangel led to a 6-1 victory over the DII Bulldogs, with Abigail Chaney leading the way for the Valor on Friday. Evangel claimed the point in doubles play after the duo's of Rachel and Abigail Chaney as well as Lola Federski and Carly McAtee claimed wins. During singles, Evangel won five of their six matches, dominating the Bulldogs from start to finish for the 6-1 win.
