SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Four Evangel Valor women's tennis athletes were honored on Tuesday by being named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team for the 2025-26 season.
Seniors Lidia Bjelica and Rachel Chaney were joined by junior McKylie Cox and sophomore Lauren Hendrickson in earning the academic honor.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
These athletes had to meet several requirements to garner the honor, including competing in at least 75% of games played, having a 3.50 cumulative GPA, and being at least a sophomore in academic status.
