Valor Women's Soccer Plays Host to Bethel on Saturday

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel women's soccer team returns home on Saturday (Oct. 7) afternoon, looking to earn the fourth win of their season and third in conference play, taking on the Bethel Threshers at 2:00 p.m.

OPENING STORYLINES 

  • Evangel Women's Soccer tied last year's season total of goals, currently with 22 this season.

  • Evangel and Saint Mary tied on Wednesday night, 1-1.

  • Anna Crain leads the Valor in goals and assists, currently with six and five, respectively, on the season.

  • Chloe Hancock leads Evangel in saves, currently with 53 on the year.

  • Alece Hershey scored the second goal of her collegiate career on Wednesday.

  • Evangel is 0-1 all-time against Bethel, falling to the Threshers, 3-1, in Evangel's first season as a soccer team.

LOOKING AHEAD

Evangel Women's Soccer will conclude their two game home stand on Wednesday (Oct. 11) evening, taking on nationally ranked Oklahoma Wesleyan at 5:00 p.m.
