Valor Women's Soccer Travels to Leavenworth on Wednesday

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel women's soccer team concludes their road trip on Wednesday (Oct. 4) evening, taking on the University of Saint Mary Spires, looking to bounce back after a narrow loss last Saturday.

OPENING STORYLINES 

  • Evangel Women's Soccer has recorded 21 goals so far this season, just one goal shy of their total from last season.

  • Evangel fell last Saturday on the road against Tabor, 2-0.

  • Anna Crain leads the Valor in goals and assists, currently with six and five, respectively, on the season. Crain is currently tied for 36th in the nation in assists.

  • Chloe Hancock leads Evangel in saves, currently with 47 on the year.

  • Evangel is 3-0 all-time against Saint Mary (Kan.), winning their last matchup back in early September of last year, 3-0.

LOOKING AHEAD

Evangel Women's Soccer will return home on Saturday (Oct. 7) afternoon to take on the Bethel Threshers at 2:00 p.m.
