SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After sweeping the Sterling College Warriors on Friday, Valor Volleyball returns to the road, taking on the 21st ranked Ottawa Braves on Wednesday (Oct. 25) evening at 7:00 p.m., in Ottawa, Kan.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel defeated Sterling on Friday, 3-0, to move to 7-3 in conference play and remain at fifth overall in conference.

Bella Wakley leads the team in kills so far this season, currently with 253.

Leah Jackson leads Evangel in assists with 387, averaging just shy of five assists per set (4.90).

Sophomore Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 99 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.25 per set which is tied for eighth in the nation.

Jessica Pritchett leads the Valor in service aces with 25 so far this season.

Kenna Wise leads Evangel in digs with 444 and is 15th in the nation in digs per set, averaging 5.62 overall.

The Valor take on Ottawa in their 13th meeting on Wednesday and are 9-3 all-time against their opponent. Evangel's last win over the Braves came back in 2021, when they won in a five set thriller.
LOOKING AHEAD
Evangel returns home on Friday (Oct. 27) evening for a non-conference matchup against longtime foe, College of the Ozarks, for Pink Out Night at 7:00 p.m.
