SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After falling to Oklahoma Wesleyan on Wednesday evening, Valor Volleyball returns to action at home on Saturday (Oct. 14) afternoon, when they host the McPherson Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. in the Ashcroft Center.
OPENING STORYLINES

Evangel fell on the road against OKWU, 3-1.

Bella Wakley leads the team in kills so far this season, currently with 213.

Leah Jackson leads Evangel in assists with 335, averaging just shy of five assists per set (4.93).

Sophomore Vivianna Sanchez leads the team with 80 blocks so far this year, currently averaging 1.18 per set which is tied for 17th in the nation.

Jessica Pritchett leads the Valor in service aces with 23 so far this season.

Kenna Wise leads Evangel in digs with 389 and is 13th in the nation in digs per set, averaging 5.72 overall.

The Valor take on McPherson in their fourth meeting on Saturday and are 3-0 all-time against the Bulldogs. Evangel's last win over McPherson came back in 2012, when they won in straight sets.
LOOKING AHEAD
Evangel remains at home on Wednesday (Oct. 18) afternoon, taking on Southwestern College at 7:00 p.m. in the Ashcroft Center.
