SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Evangel women's tennis team came up on the short end of a 4-3 decision against Truman State Monday afternoon at Cooper Tennis Complex.

The Crusaders split their six singles competitions, with Ana Bjelica defeating Alex Rogers (6-0, 6-2), Abigail Chaney edging Morgan Eby (6-3, 6-2) and Bethany Overturf topping Kennidy Shirey (2-6, 6-4, 10-8).

Truman State took two of the three doubles matches, despite Bjelica/Yates win over Eby/Fangman (6-3).
